My angel Ashley Jane Mane Wang
Ashley was born in Toronto, Ontario on September 18, 2005. Ashley was a lively child, always like to play run, and skip. She loved to go to the park and play on the slides. Ashley lived in Toronto for the first few years of her life before moving to Oakville. At age 3 she was diagnosed with brain tumor and required surgery. After surgery she was followed up with 4 month of Chemo therapy and another month of Radiation therapy. Due to her hospital stay she missed the opportunity to attend Jr kindergarten. Ashley was a happy child, she almost never cried or got angry at anything or anyone. She loved to sing, dance, play on computers, I pad, watch TV and be in photographs. Her favorite food was Pepperoni pizza and vanilla ice cream. She had one sibling which is her older brother Kevin who adored her very much. Ashley was a shy and timid child but had a curious mind. She love to invent new songs and rhymes to share with her friends and family. She said the time she spend at St. Bernadette Catholic School was the most memorable because she got to learn a lot of new and fun facts, play with wonderful kids and was taught by wonderful teachers. Ashley was a world traveler, she has been to United States, Philippines and Italy. Unfortunately at age 9, Ashley's cancer reemerged in her lower spine and additional Chemo therapy and Radiation therapy was needed. The doctors at Sick Kids Hospital and Princess Margret hospital did the best they could but was unable to stop the Cancer from spreading. On December 2014, Ashley was informed her Cancer was terminal. Ashley did not cry or get upset, all she asked was "why"?
During the last few month she was with us she attended school as much as her body allowed her to, through her pain she did not want to miss seeing her friends, classmates and her wonderful teachers and staff. When Ashley stop going to school she tried her best to live everyday as best as she could. Ashley loved her trip to Disney Land in Florida, even-though the weather was bit chilly, she was able to meet almost every princess. On May 21 2015 Ashley succumbed to her illness and passed away in her sleep.

I would like to thank all the people at:
St. Bernadette Catholic School for they help and support and just being in Ashley's Life
Sick Kids Hospital, Princess Margret Hospital for their dedication to their profession and giving Ashley the additional time she might of not have.
Make a Wish Foundation for their support and the gift of trip to Disney Land.
And mostly to the family and friends who was there in Ashley's life.
