<div itemprop="description">Horacio Manuel Pereira <br />December 8, 1949 &ndash; March 3, 2016 <br /> <br />It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Horacio Pereira at the age of <br />Sixty- six (66) years on Thursday, March 3, 2016. He is survived by his loving wife <br />Maria De Lurdes, with whom he shared forty-two (42) wonderful years of marriage and <br />traveling, his sons Steve (Miriam) and Andy (Michelle), his daughter Kelly (Mike), and <br />his grandchildren Isabella, Lorenzo and Armando. Horacio will be greatly missed by his <br />brothers and sisters, Geraldina and her husband Manuel (pre-deceased), Alfredo and <br />his wife Zezuina (pre-deceased), Jose (Gloria), Ernesto (pre-deceased) and his wife <br />Maria Jose, Margarida and her husband Aires (pre-deceased), Odilia and her husband <br />Moises (pre-deceased). Gilda and her husband Jose, Fatima and her husband Herman <br />and Manuel and his wife Fermina. Horacio is also survived by his mother-in-law Maria <br />Do Carmo, his brother-in-law John (Humberta) and sister-in-law Angie. <br /> <br />Horacio immigrated from Feteiras, Sao Miguel, Azores Portugal in 1965. He was <br />working in construction for King Paving and was the proud store owner of Azores Fish <br />and Meat Market in the heart of Oakville for many years. <br /> <br />To Horacio, family and friends, along with good wine and good Portuguese food, were <br />the most important parts of life. He will be sadly missed by all of his family and his <br />friends. <br /> <br />Visitation was held at the Oakview Funeral Home, 56 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville <br />on Saturday, March 5, 2016 from 12pm to 3pm and 5pm to 9pm. <br />His funeral was held at St. James Church, 231 Morden Road, Oakville on Monday, <br />March 7, 2016 at 10am with interment to follow at Trafalgar Lawn Cemetery located at <br />1149 Dundas Street West, Oakville. <br /></div>
