<div itemprop="description">Karl Halford Little- 1930-2014. It is with great sadness that his family announces the sudden passing of Karl at his home on October 7th 2014, at the age of 84. He was the beloved husband of the late Shirley Little, for 61 years, who passed away in 2012.Dear father to Richard and father in law to Diane. Loving Grandfather to Dionne, Denine, Jake, and Chelsea. Doting Great Grandpa to Shelby and Payton. He will be greatly missed by all. Sadly predeceased by, not only his wife Shirley, but his daughter Sharon, granddaughter Jessica, great grandson Parker, and his parents Annie and Sterling Little of Harvey Station NB. He will be sadly missed by his brother Leslie and brother in laws George, Gordon, and Royden and sister in law Phyllis from New Brunswick. Born in Harvey Station NB, August 30th, 1930, Karl graduated from Harvey Regional High School, and went on to an Automotive Technical School in Moncton N.B. He became a licensed Mechanic and eventually a Professional Service Manager in his automotive career. Karl and Shirley were married in 1951 and moved to Ontario in 1953. They settled in Oakville in 1955 and have called it home ever since. Karl and Shirley were very happily married, they enjoyed many years together raising a family, helping their grand children and helping with their great grandchildren. They were involved in their community through their Church and Rotary clubs and loved to travel and spend time with family and friends. Karl was very committed to his daily walks through Oakville and could be seen walking down Maple Grove Drive daily. Karl retired from Briarwood Chevrolet in Port Credit, in 1995 after over 40 years working in the automotive industry. He was extremely active in the Mississauga Port Credit Rotary Club and a winner of the prestigious Paul Harris Fellow Award. Karl was loved and respected by friends, relatives and colleagues alike. Family and friends will be received from 2-4 &amp; 7-9p.m. on Monday, October 13th, 2014 at the Oakview Funeral Home, 56 Lakeshore Rd. W.(1 block east of Kerr St.). A Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday October 14th at St. Cuthbert&rsquo;s Anglican Church 1541 Oakhill Dr. Oakville. Karl&rsquo;s family would like to thank all their family and friends for joining them, a donation to your favourite charity in lieu of flowers would be appreciated.
