<div itemprop="description">It is with great sadness that we announce the passing on August 9 of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother Margaret Juanita (Ferguson) Gibb after a tough battle fought against cancer. Survived by her husband of almost 68 years Jim, daughters Sue Ann (Doug Brady), Jane (Randy Lewis) and Debby Anderson (Grant Fleming). Grandmother of 10 - Holly Laird, Heather Pickles (Morgan), James Laird (Megan), Adam Laird, Sean Brady (Amanda), Megan Young (Danny), Stephanie and Sam Lewis, Tim Anderson (Jen) and Carly Anderson (Ed Kanerva). Great-Grandmother to 7 - Noah and Jack Pickles, Thomas and Madison Brady, Samantha Fyfe, Liam Young and Chloe Anderson. Margaret was born and raised Montreal. She was very active in the Oakville community for 57 years supporting her children and grandchildren through school volunteering, Guiding, dance, and sports events&mdash;a frequent spectator at football and soccer games. She was a member of St Aidan's Church for 50 years. She loved to accompany Jim on business trips and travel for the past 29 years post-retirement. She is resting at Oakview Funeral Home with visitation Thursday, August 13, 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and funeral at 4 p.m. Friday, August 14. Should you wish, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice in celebration of Margaret's life.
