She died peacefully, at home, with close family members in attendance. Rosemary was born in Staffordshire, England and immigrated to Canada in 1981, along with her husband and three children. Initially living in Montreal, the family moved to Oakville in 1984. Rosemary’s many interests included performing in live theatre, extra work in films and TV shows, badminton and horse riding. She was particularly fond of tap dancing and belonged to the Oakville Happy Tappers dance troupe who perform at many local venues. In England she was an active member of the Egginton Entertainers, a local amateur theater group. She was hard working, energetic, a very loyal friend, authentic, vivacious and loving. Beloved husband of Colin, devoted sister of Jeanette (John Smith), devoted mother to Tracey (Paul Stannard), Sharon (Dean Morrison) and Timothy. Loving step-mother to Melanie, Peter (Kate Peach) and Anthony. Adoring Grannie to Brooke and Forrest, Granny Rose to Stephanie and Liam. Special thanks to Dr Hal Hirte and his staff at the Juravinski Cancer Center for their world class medical care, Dr Kathy Gray her family physician and the nurses and PSW’s at Acclaim Health for their outstanding palliative home care. Service to be held at Oakview Funeral Home, 56 Lakeshore Rd West, Oakville, on February 20th, 2016, at 12:00 pm with visitation starting at 11:30am.

Rosemary will be missed more than she could ever have imagined.
