Beaudette, Stanley Joseph, July 24, 1932-April 18, 2015

In his 83rd year (though he swore he was 29), Stan passed away peacefully, surrounded with love and family. He is survived by his wife, navigator & boss, Joan (nee Brown); children Blake (Barb), Christel Cudmore (Chris), Kent (Nadine); grandchildren Jessica (Trevor), Jennifer (Rob), Jaimie (Logan), Kevin (Stephanie), Brian (Veronique), Jacquelene (Vincent), Aidan, Kailyn, Connor, and Kian; and great-grandchildren Eliza & Jack.

Born July 24, 1932, to David and Maude Beaudette in Cornwall Township, Stormont County, Stan was the fifth of ten children, and the biggest trouble-maker of the lot.

Stan somehow convinced the wonderful Joan Brown to be his wife and they were married on
September 24, 1955. For almost 60 years Stan and Joan travelled through life and the world hand-in-hand.
When not on the road Stan could be found in his beloved garden. He spoiled his ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, constantly stopping in to deliver hugs and Timbits, or for trips for ice cream. He always had words of wisdom to share with the family and imparted his wealth of knowledge onto listening ears.

Stan, along with Joan, was the family’s most ardent supporter. Whether it was sports fields in the rain, another
Off-key Christmas concert, or a birthday party with a Cookie Monster cake, he had to be there.
The family would like to thank the CCU team at Trillium Hospital for their care and attention.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.

Look out, here comes trouble.
