<div itemprop="description">Saites, Stephanie - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Stephanie on Monday December 21, 2015 at Princess Margaret Hospital with her parents Luke and Ellen by her side. Everyone whose life was touched by this extraordinary young woman will remember her bright smile, infectious laugh, her sassiness and remarkable zest for life. Her love and close bond to her brother Nick was unlike any other, always protective of her big brother. Even while dealing with her own illness, her biggest concern was how her family and friends were. Yaya Ellie, her Uncles Tony, Mike and Dave and Aunts Mariann, Linda and Ginny along with cousins Vanessa (Kareem), Katie (Alex) and extended family mourn the loss of the remarkable woman that she was. We would like to thank the Doctors, nurses and support staff at Princess Margaret and Toronto General Hospital for the amazing care and compassion that they extended to Stephanie and her entire family over the last year. Steph was fiercely loyal to family and friends and she will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her. Family will receive friends on Sunday December 27th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Monday December 28th from 2p.m until 4 p.m. and from 6p .m. until 8 p.m.at Oakview Funeral Home, 56 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville. A Funeral service will be held on Tuesday December 29th at 10:00am at the Greek Orthodox Church of Prophet Elias. 1785 Matheson Blvd, Mississauga, followed by internment at GlenOaks Cemetery at 3164 Ninth line (at Dundas). In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Stephanie to the Princess Margaret Foundation or the Syrian Refugee Fund, C/O St Ephrem Syriac Orthodox Church, 150-13th Ave Sherbrooke, Quebec J1G 2V8 would be appreciated.
